Christmas!

Elsworth and I are getting ready for Christmas!  We got our tree last Sunday and it looks great in our apartment.  All of the decorations on the tree (including the garland and the star on the top) are items that we made out of felt.  We love our tree of hand made ornaments! 

We aren't the only ones who love our tree...Libby loves it too!  Libby does this thing (likely because, sadly she spent the first part of her life confined to a box) where she walks the same path over and over.  She loves doing this around the tree...she walks circles around it (my dad suggested that we make a train costume for her).  Libby also enjoys napping under the tree! 

A few nights ago St. Nicholas stopped by our house in the night and left some goodies in our shoes!

Elsworth received some candy and lotto tickets (even some winning lotto tickets--nothing too big but like $25) from St. Nick! 

St. Nick filled my boots with candy, summer sausage (an item I love and only eat around Christmas for some reason) and some awesome Milanos with crushed candy canes on top! 


Elsworth and I love playmobil items (as evidenced by our wedding cake topper) so for a wedding gift some sweet friends gave us a playmobil Advent calendar!

We've enjoyed opening each door of the advent calendar since December 1 and our playmobil Advent display is looking awesome!
